As a Software Engineer for GO-AI’s Software team, your responsibilities will include:
• Design and build software that is reliable, and high-performant
• Produce clean, high-quality code, tests, and documentation
• Actively participate in code and design reviews with peers and partners
• Partner with fellow engineering teams to accomplish complex projects together
• Embrace and champion engineering best practices within your group
• Triage bugs, respond to user feedback, and fix production issues
• Hire, develop, and mentor other engineers on the team

About the team
You will be part of an exciting, diverse team that is accountable for developing and deploying novel software systems with User Experience and Customer Obsession at its core that impact hundreds of users for every minute of their working day!
You will own software applications and systems that enables human supervisory control of automated tasks. The mission of this team is to deliver production quality software at Amazon scale with User Experience at the core. You will work cross-functionally to develop pioneering applications in a highly exciting and innovative environment.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 5+ years of experience working with programming language like typescript with node.js , Java , Python.
- 2+ years of experience working with AWS Services including Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, S3, DynomoDB..
- Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience developing cloud software services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliability.
- Ability to write high quality code that is robust and easy to maintain
- Experienced debugging, diagnosing, and trouble-shooting complex production software
- Ability to drive tasks to completion and take ownership of projects
- Ability to work in a fast paced and agile development environment. Experience working in a scrum framework.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with sharp analytical abilities.
- Knowledge of object oriented design principles
- Experience with at least one major JavaScript framework (Angular, React, etc.) is a plus
