Educational background diversity consisting of Finance, Engineering and Supply Chain Management.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field. • Experience in supply chain, commodity, and supplier management in a high volume, global sourcing and operations manufacturing environment. • Experience working with a global supply base of high-volume steel metal fabrication component suppliers, steel raw materials management and other metal related commodities.• Review and understand engineering design documents for mechanical components. • Experience developing, leading, and executing global commodity strategies focused on supplier cost, risk, and lead time reduction strategies. • Experience with contract negotiation and execution with high volume domestic and internationally based suppliers.• Technical, analytical, and management skills to lead RFQs, supplier selection, supplier capacity planning, and supplier risk identification/mitigation in NPI programs. ...
