Blink is the result of one of the most successful Kick starter campaigns ever, growing the business at an astounding rate since the first product introduction in 2016. Blink products are manufactured in multiple places around the globe and the data we need to build these products needs to transfer quickly and securely to keep up with the pace.
We are looking for a talented SDET to join our team and continue breaking new ground in our Manufacturing Intelligence (Mint) team . We need you to design and build test tools and processes so that we can build high quality products faster. 


Key job responsibilities
You will be responsible for building and maintaining our automated test infrastructure for our applications that will be used to validate all aspects of the software operation. You will build an automation implementation and identify gaps in coverage and create test strategies and test cases to improve and assess software quality. You will build infrastructure and tools to establish a reliable continuous build and test cycle that includes meaningful reporting.

A day in the life
As an SDET on the Mint team, you are expected to bring passion to utilize and grow your industry-leading technical abilities that enable you to significantly improve automation test coverage and testing efficiency. You will be working closely with our partners and provide testing support, creating automation, troubleshooting issues, and contributing ideas to improve the customer experience of our software. All engineers contribute to improvements in our processes, efficiency, and accuracy.

About the team
In our group we embrace what it means to be full stack from backend, web, database, to dashboards. Our team is fluid and able to move within applications as necessary. Sometimes we do lunch and learns to share fun things we've learned or have lunch with other groups. As the Manufacturing Intelligence team we help show our customers how the factories are performing in a way not done before within Amazon. We use the latest AWS processes and are security compliant with our data and information that flows through to our Contract Manufacturer's.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Experience with web services and REST APIs
- 2+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment
- 4+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience
