The ideal candidate will have experience partnering with senior leaders on their people agendas spanning talent, culture, workforce, and transformation. We are looking for an HR practitioner with deep curiosity for the business and the ability to leverage that understanding to support the organizations' future strategy and talent needs. You'll help business leaders make data-driven decisions, lead and facilitate change, and deliver high-impact solutions in a rapidly evolving, complex environment. You’ll also partner closely with talent acquisition, DEI, workforce planning, compensation, and other teams to build strong teams and deliver on cross-company initiatives.
Key job responsibilities
• Set HR strategy and goals, integrating Amazon/AWS-wide-priorities.
• Partner with the business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, skills assessment and development, and other initiatives to optimize for business objectives.
• Provide impactful coaching to guide business leaders and senior managers.
• Leverage data-driven analysis to influence business partners with compelling recommendations.
• Partner with global HR teams to support business unit needs and contribute to global HR initiatives.
• Lead HR projects and key initiatives in collaboration with peers across the organization.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
· 7+ years of experience in an HR generalist leadership role
· Strong judgment and experience coaching senior leaders.
· Broad experience and specific knowledge of human resource theory, including employee relations, learning, and performance management.
· Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality document preparation, data visualization, and facilitation skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Master’s degree in Human Resources or MBA
• Experience in tech and/or working with software engineering teams
• 5+ years’ experience working as a business partner, and driving organizational change initiatives and developing talent management plans for global organization teams
• Experience in executive coaching
