Position Title: Business Analyst III
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Position Responsibilities:
Support business and finance teams on finding insights to build better supply chain products, improve operations performance and enhance finance controllership. Conduct data analysis across various initiatives, coordinate across the multiple teams within AWS Infrastructure Supply Chain and Finance teams while synthesizing findings and recommendations for what to build next and how to improve. Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format. Translate data into actionable insights. Identify areas of opportunity to automate and scale ad-hoc analyses. Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that support business needs. Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions. Prepare and deliver reviews to the senior management teams on business analysis and recommended actions.
Position Requirements:
Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field and one year of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master's degree and one year of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): writing and optimizing SQL with large-scale, complex datasets; processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources; using SQL, Oracle or ETL; creating dashboards in Tableau, Quicksight or equivalent platform; performing statistical analysis; and developing automated reporting. Partial telecommuting permitted; employees will be required to report to office multiple days per week.
