Amazon Music is seeking the Merchandising Lead for Latin-Iberia to join the team. The candidate will develop and execute the regional business strategy while collaborating with our global team. Key responsibilities include building industry relationships, implementing go-to-market strategies, and partnering with artists, managers, labels, and producers. This role focuses on accelerating business growth and creating exceptional music experiences for customers by strengthening artist fandoms across the region.
Based in Miami, Florida, this role requires collaboration with Marketing, Finance, Merchandising, Editorial, Content Vendor Management, Operations, and International teams. The ideal candidate demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and proven negotiation skills. Experience working in cross-functional environments is essential for success in this position.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead artist merchandise business development expansion for Latin-Iberian artists in North America, Europe and key Latin American geographies.
• Identify and develop revenue opportunities in physical merchandise and music products
• Negotiate strategic partnerships that create value for fans, artists, and Amazon Music, with focus on measurable long-term growth
• Build and maintain relationships with artists, labels, and industry stakeholders to drive participation in Amazon Music content programs
• Establish and maintain high commercial standards to optimize revenue generation
• Drive Amazon Music's Latin-Iberian market strategy through data-driven insights and market analysis
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business
- Demonstrated success in business negotiations and partnership development
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Fluency in English and Spanish required
- Experience in contract management and stakeholder relations
- Strong financial acumen with understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in the music industry, artist management, tour promotion, or fashion business
