The Frustration-Free Setup team is hiring a Principal Product Manager to drive account linking solutions that scale across millions of customers.

Frustration-Free Setup provides foundational setup and connection experiences for smart devices that result in reduced friction for customers. We provide first party and third-party device makers Software Development Kits (SDKs) and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) that are easy to integrate, so they can focus on creating unique product experiences.

We’re looking for a leader who:
- Can think big, concept and deliver new products of proven customer value
- Is technical and can build tools and services that remove customer pain-points
- Can design and deliver experiments that evolve into new learnings
- Can work with a cross-functional team of internal developers, product leads, and external third party partners to define roadmaps and leverage technology to delight customers

Key job responsibilities
You'll be working with POCs in each individual product line. You'll be the mouthpiece of the team, and will set the vision for the team. You'll help making compromises and build a short term and a long-term roadmap. You will work with the Software Development Managers and ensure they are building the right solutions for our customers. You insist on high quality, and back your decisions by data.

As part of your job, you need to influence decisions made by other teams. This is a high visibility role that will allow you to have impact on hundreds of millions of customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience technical product management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
