The Role:
As a Sr. Connectivity Systems Engineer, you will:
-Define wireless architecture for consumer electronics devices.
-Define key performance metric and drive modeling efforts to predict end-to-end system performance.
-Perform gap analysis and system performance optimization across radio, PHY, MAC, firmware and software.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in Wireless and RF
- Experience in Wi-Fi/BT/BLE/ZigBee/WAN

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- Experience in defining wireless architecture for consumer electronics
- Experience with wireless (Wi-Fi/BT/BLE/ZigBee) protocols
- Experience with 5G/4G phy layer and protocol
- Knowledge and understanding of 3GPP specs
- Experience with design and debug of Multi-Radio coexistence systems
- Experience with Network Simulators and PHY/MAC layer modeling
- Hands on Experience with WiFi, Bluetooth and ZigBee Sniffer Analysis
- Experience with scripting languages and simulation tools such as Python, MatLab, and etc.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
