Amazon Lab126 is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the Hardware Strategy & Ops team based in Sunnyvale. In order to support the broader Hardware org's objectives, we work to bridge critical data and insights with strategic planning and operational mechanisms. As part of this commitment, we are adding a position for someone who can drive long term initiatives to meet business goals.

This role requires experience with managing a business line, excellent analytical abilities, and a creative mind to invent solutions to new and old problems. You will collaborate with various business, operations, financial, and engineering teams across Amazon. Strong candidates will have deep experience managing and extracting information from large datasets, identifying operational improvements and driving the development of low-cost, high impact software tools.

Key job responsibilities
Develop and align resource requirements for the hardware organization to deliver against roadmap programs.

Coordinate and drive the process for forecasting/reporting actual resource requirements and analysis for both individual program-level reviews as well as annual planning cycles.

Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the capacity of the Hardware organization and ensure we have the right teams in place to deliver against the device roadmap.

Translate key strategic plans into projects, identifying requirements and relevant stakeholder groups.

Develop insights from the historical trends, including reports and documents, share and interpret those learning with senior leadership.

Actively explore and design scalable execution plans for long-term strategic planning opportunities to improve operational efficiency in execution and scaling of the Hardware Organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning technology products

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
