As a Senior Product Launch Manager for Amazon Device Solutions (ADS), you will spearhead the launch of our innovative B2B products, including the Amazon Signage Stick and associated software services. You'll work closely with our Business Development and Product teams to bring cutting-edge digital signage and smart office solutions to market, targeting small and medium businesses (SMBs) as well as enterprise customers.

Your role is crucial in scaling our presence in the multi-billion dollar digital signage market and expanding our smart office offerings. You'll be responsible for coordinating launches across multiple channels, including direct sales, content management system (CMS) partners, and AV integrators. Your success will be measured by your ability to drive adoption of ADS solutions, generate revenue, and create long-term value for our B2B customers.

This role requires a unique blend of technical understanding, business acumen, and project management skills. You'll be at the forefront of bringing innovative solutions to market that empower businesses to amplify their operations and customer engagement through connected devices and services.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end launch planning and execution for ADS products, with a primary focus on the Amazon Signage related product and service
- Develop and manage relationships with key CMS partners and AV integrators to ensure successful integration and go-to-market strategies
- Coordinate with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales) to align launch timelines, messaging, and technical readiness
- Create and execute launch plans that address the unique needs of both SMB and enterprise customers
- Manage beta programs and early adopter initiatives to gather crucial feedback and refine our offerings pre-launch
- Develop and deliver training materials for internal teams and external partners on new product features and capabilities
- Collaborate with the AWS and other customer facing teams to create integrated launch strategies
- Monitor and analyze post-launch performance metrics, providing insights to inform future product development and launch strategies
- Identify and mitigate launch risks, escalating issues as needed to ensure smooth product introductions
- Drive continuous improvement in our launch processes, adapting to the fast-paced, startup-like environment of ADS


A day in the life
Your day as a Senior Product Launch Manager at ADS might start with a morning strategy session, refining launch plans for our latest digital signage solution. By midday, you could be leading a cross-functional meeting to address last-minute technical issues before a major product release. The afternoon might see you collaborating with Marketing on customer-facing materials, ensuring our value proposition is clearly communicated. You'll likely end your day analyzing customer feedback from recent launches and preparing recommendations for product improvements. Throughout, you'll coordinate with various teams, manage timelines and risks, and balance immediate launch needs with long-term product strategy, all while keeping the customer at the center of your decisions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in product launch management, preferably in the technology or B2B sector
- Proven track record of successfully launching complex technology products or services to market
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders throughout the product launch lifecycle
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to create and execute comprehensive launch plans
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and external partners
- Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs and market trends into successful launch strategies
- Experience with go-to-market strategy development and execution
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to make data-driven decisions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- MBA or advanced degree in a related field
- Experience launching digital signage, IoT, or other relevant B2B technology products
- Knowledge of Amazon's technology ecosystem and business model
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
- Understanding of B2B sales processes and channel partner dynamics
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies in a product development environment
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital signage software platforms
- Bias for action with demonstrable experience of effectively executing defined launch strategies
- Ability to re-prioritize tasks quickly and deliver results
- Track record of launching products with aggressive schedules and limited resources
- Flexibility to work effectively with different time zones
- Multi-lingual fluency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
