Amazon is seeking a Manager, Content Management to join the growing Strategic Storytelling Unit within the Sellers External Relations (SER) team.

The Manager, Content Management will lead the implementation of a new organization wide (DAM) Digital Asset Management System helping drive efficiencies, and lead the management, curation, metadata, sharing, organization and surfacing of creative assets, including but not limited to videos, photos, design, and motion graphics.

This leader will establish product best practices and most importantly will lead change initiatives and implement solutions that benefit cross-team collaboration and functionality, both internally and externally. They will develop clear processes and communicate with teams effectively for adoption of use while adjusting for improvements and embracing cutting-edge tools and technology (such as AI) to make content management operations workflows more streamlined and time and cost efficient.

In addition to working with colleagues within SER, the role will require building relationships across the Selling Partner Empowerment, Communities and Trust (SPECT) organization, with cross functional stakeholders as well as with the external agencies and partners that support key marketing objectives. They will partner to create and implement a new digital asset management best practices playbook to develop standards for the team and the organization.

Key job responsibilities
•Own digital asset management (DAM) workflow and management, across the enterprise to advise on content management best practices, processes, technologies and ensuring compliance of media use and efficiencies of scale
•Lead and support a team of Content Managers. Mentor, empower and foster critical thinking, and innovation
•Leverage new tools and technologies to make asset management operations more efficient. Introduce new tools and technologies to stay current with industry trends
•Communicate and teach best practices across the organization for end-user support across the teams
•Develop data ROI including own metrics/dashboards of incoming and outgoing assets and reporting
•understanding coding languages including Python


About the team
The Seller External Relations (SER) team ensures that Amazon is viewed globally by external audiences as a valuable, accessible, partner who respects and celebrates the success of its sellers. We create content and tools that demonstrate and celebrate the positive experiences of sellers on Amazon to other sellers, the general public, and influentials (e.g., media and policymakers) with the goal of improving their perception of the experience and benefits of selling in our store.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Library Sciences, or related field
- 7+ years’ working within media management and leading processes
- Experience organizing and managing large sets of assets across an ecosystem of tools linked to a DAM (Digital Asset Management) (Cantemo), and fulfilling asset requests in a fast-paced, deadline- driven creative environment.
- Experience working with Cloud storage, remote Editing environments and various types of CMS’
- 5+ years’ experience on a creative team in an ad agency or corporate marketing department

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Understanding of the basics of Adobe Creative Suite as relates to post-production workflows, and file formats, assets and variations in order to assess asset quality and perform daily tasks
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite as relates to communications and collaboration
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Experience managing complex Marketing workflows for content management
- Proven track record partnering with designers, producers, agencies, and content-creators

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $139,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $230,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
