Amazon’s global cross channel, cross category marketing team (XCM), is looking for a Creative Director – Art Director to guide Amazon’s global studio, leading the conceptualization and execution of breakthrough, global digital and social assets for XCM and other Amazon marketing teams. Partnering closely with the Head of the Global Studio and our agency partner, this role will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day creative, and setting the vision to ensure consistently high-quality, brand-aligned creative. The ideal candidate has a passion for doing world class work, and is a digital native with a strong visual background who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. Key job responsibilities
• Develop innovative creative concepts that elevate the Amazon and Prime brands and drive customer engagement
• Oversee the end-to-end creative production process, providing hands-on direction and feedback to the in-house design/copywriting team and agency partners
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deeply understand business objectives and translate them into impactful creative executions
• Champion the implementation of the XCM brand architecture and design system to maintain consistency across all creative outputs
• Foster a creative culture that embraces experimentation, leverages the latest technologies (e.g. AI-generated content), and consistently raises the bar
• Mentor and develop the skills of the junior creative team members

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of experience as a Creative Director or Senior Art Director, ideally in an agency, in-house creative, or digital production environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience managing creative (internal team of designers, copywriters, external agencies and freelancers)
- Experience developing digital campaigns for O&O channels that have global scale
- Experience in driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team
- Outstanding conceptual and design abilities, with a strong portfolio demonstrating digital-first creative thinking

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
