Key job responsibilities
• Partnering with account management teams to drive incremental sales pipeline and revenue growth from games industry workloads
• Developing our Games industry solution area and use case strategy
• Defining strategic direction and supporting sales and go-to-market activities for the Media & Entertainment, Games and Sports Industry Business Unit at AWS
• Working with customers and AWS partners to identify and lead proof of concept engagements and develop new and innovative games solutions
• Partnering with AWS Solutions Architecture resources in design, POC, pricing, TCO and delivery activities
• Supporting the AWS Partner Network and key industry technology providers with their games industry solutions on AWS
• Collaborating with AWS professional Services to develop new solutions and packaged offerings
• Conducting executive workshops with industry leaders
• Participating in and representing AWS in key games industry associations and events

We are expanding in a number of areas, and our Media & Entertainment organization is looking for a seasoned executive to own strategy and thought leadership and to deliver world-class cloud-based Monetization solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements in the games industry
- 10 + years of experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- BS/BA or equivalent experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Demonstrated understanding of Cloud technologies and their current or future application in Direct-to-Consumer environments
- 5+ years direct experience in owning or creating market development strategies including: conducting discovery assessments, generating market assessments and business cases, go-to-market programs
- Direct, professional services or consulting experience in large-scale games environments
- Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
- Demonstrated experience developing enterprise application architectures to meet business requirements in complex environments
- Understanding of security, risk and compliance frameworks, disaster recovery, high availability architectures, hardware, operating systems and networking connectivity
- Large-scale systems integration involving on-premises technology and public cloud platforms
- Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or other relevant advanced degrees

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
