As a Product Marketing Manager for the Global Services portfolio, you will have the opportunity to lead product marketing content development for the portfolio which includes AWS Training and Certification, AWS Support and Managed Services, AWS Professional Services, and Security Services. In this role, you will dive deep to build our Global Services story from the ground up, leading development of a core bill of materials including presentations, playbooks, and kits that accelerates and scales our messaging across customer events, marketing campaigns and programs, website, customer meetings, and more. This role will partner closely with Messaging, Product Marketing, and Customer References to anchor our content in our most important and impactful stories and proof points and with enablement teams to scale content through marketing and sales motions. You will get to work on a growing, high profile business and have a strategic impact on our business planning and growth strategy.

Key job responsibilities
Drive the development of top-level messaging and core content for AWS Global Services.

Craft and develop compelling audience-specific messages and tools (messaging frameworks, narratives, presentations, videos, enablement).

Collaborate with Global Services reference, research, product, and business teams to distill key benefits and proof points into compelling value propositions and messaging.

Stay connected to business trends and help ensure messages and stories are relevant to our customers.

Ensure that customer stories are integrated into marketing content in a way that is credible and compelling.

Collaborate with AWS marketing teams to integrate content into events and marketing programs.

Provide and pursue new ideas for using messaging and storytelling to build thought leadership for AWS.Influence and maintain global, organization-wide consistency for messaging.

Collect content development best practices and create mechanisms for sharing within Global Services Marketing.

Become fluent in AWS’s communication style, tone, and voice.Provide writing and editing support as needed for Global Services marketing and communications projects.

Work effectively across product marketing, communications, research, references, marketing, and sales to elevate, differentiate, and scale Global Services messaging and stories.

Play a critical role in the evolution of the AWS story on people-powered services as a complement to our technology services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs
- Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
