Key job responsibilities
As a Principal Product Manager (Technical), you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle from defining product vision to specific feature definition, prioritization, positioning, naming, pricing, go-to-market support and feature adoption.
As a Principal Product Manager you will:
- Understand and champion the needs of diverse AWS customers. This involves interacting with highly technical customers on product feature calls, customer briefings, customer advisory boards, and other structured feedback mechanisms.
- Develop product vision and strategy; translate it into clear deliverables for engineering teams.
- Own the strategy behind feature development, pricing, naming, and the P&L of the business
- Launch new products and implement go to market plans that will drive awareness, engagement and strong customer adoption
- Lead key strategic investment areas of AI/ML/LLM Ops and Observability
- Be an industry thought leader representing AWS at conferences such as re:Invent

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience technical product management
- 8+ years of end to end product delivery experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
- 10+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- Background in AI/ML/GenAI technologies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
