To support our mission, the AHS People, eXperience, and Technology (PXT) team is hiring an HR Business Partner to provide end-to-end HR support to market and business leaders within One Medical. This is a highly visible role and is both strategic and hands-on. The role will be a trusted advisor and business partner, and will oversee talent management, serve as a master coach to leadership, employee development and engagement, maintain in-depth legal knowledge related to day-today management of employees among other HR efforts for their client group.

To be successful in this role, the HR Business Partner must understand business priorities and translate them into an HR agenda that drives the business. The role will help leaders look around corners with data-driven recommendations for innovative and scalable solutions as well as iterating on current programs to improve performance, retention and the employee experience. The role is a key player in helping to cultivate an environment which enables the organization to attract, develop, engage, and retain employees. The role will also have the opportunity to participate in cross-functional One Medical projects and programs.

The ideal candidate has experience working in a fast-paced, start-up environment and has a demonstrated ability to engage collaboratively at all levels of an organization. They will also possess a broad range of competencies including the ability to influence without authority, agility and flexibility, an adaptable communication style based on audience, and the ability to analyze complex data, propose and deliver concise solutions, and produce high quality results with a human-centered approach.


Key job responsibilities
- Proactively managing the "pulse" of the business. Regularly monitoring key organizational metrics, goals and engagement and identifying insights that equip leaders to evolve their organizations in alignment with goals.
- Master coach, providing day-to-day HR guidance to clinical and clinical operations leaders on topics of performance management, team member engagement, development, organizational practices and more
- Leveraging data to identify, forecast, and analyze risks and opportunities to improve the employee experience.
- Strategically partner with leaders and team members to ensure quality work relationships, achievement of organizational objectives, and retention
- Leading with empathy and earning trust of employees at all levels of the organization.
- Operating with autonomy and discretion within, at times, a challenging and ambiguous environment. Leveraging high judgment to assess risks and articulate risks and trade offs to business leaders.
- Managing large-scale cyclical talent processes while also diving into the details of nuanced employee-specific questions and concerns.
- Identify training needs and provide input to the leadership and development team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Communications or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a strategic HR Generalist/Business partner role
- 2+ years of experience in program or project management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field
- HR experience in high-tech or healthcare industries
- Proven ability to diagnose issues, drawing on both professional experience and strategic thinking skills, and drive appropriate solutions with self-initiative
- Not hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in, and get the job done
- Strong analytical skills, including the understanding of metrics to support plans and monitor performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication to prepare high quality documents as well as present and facilitate group meetings and events
- Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization
- Experience coaching senior leaders and managers
- Strong talent assessment skills
- Project management skills; ability to lead projects, gain buy-in and drive to execution and achievement of the right results
- Self-starter, able to work both independently as well as an active member of both business and HR teams
- Experience partnering with executive business leaders in highly complex and dynamic business settings
- Experience with MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel (ability to create pivot tables, use Vlookup and other formulas)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $193,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
