We are looking for a Spoken Word Content Marketer to leverage integrated content marketing programs to drive awareness and new listener growth for our global audio streaming service. The content marketer will be part of the Global Spoken Word team and will be responsible for our global content marketing strategy including setting quarterly and monthly content themes that all global teams will focus on. In addition, this role will own the GTM process from development through execution in working closely with initiative owners to turn content strategy into marketing output across various marketing channels (e.g. paid media, partner marketing, direct reponse, etc.). This person will work closely with Spoken Word product marketing, programming, social, industry relations, and product teams on customer and partner-facing initiatives.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop and manage a quarterly content calendar aligned with spoken word’s team business objectives and goals.
- Connecting content investment decisions with integrated content marketing campaigns through strategic direction in partnership with local marketplaces and partner licensing team
- Lead go-to-market (GTM) process from strategy development to channel coordination and recapping with future recommendations
- Collaborate with product and channel teams to ensure effective content marketing testing and experimentation is achieved across various channels.
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, using data-driven insights to refine and evolve the content strategy.

The Spoken Word marketing team is a dynamic group of professionals dedicated to growing awareness of Amazon Music, driving new listeners through acquisition and content marketing strategies, and engaging current customers through personalization and lifecycle marketing experiences. We use data, insights, and creative thinking to invent, test, and scale programs that connect with our target audience. We collaborate across various cross-functional teams including analytics, finance, product, creative, and more to deliver impactful results.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- 6+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to produce clear, compelling content for various formats and channel.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with test and learn, marketing optimization, and experimentation
- Experience communicating results to stakeholders
- Understanding of the spoken word industry (podcasts and or audiobooks) and knowledge of current and historical trends

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
