Program Managers in the North American Technical (NAMER Tech) team support the Solution Architect and Customer Solution Manager roles. We are seeking a customer obsessed Program Manager to support the Solution Architect (SA) and Customer Solution Manager (CSM) teams within North America Vertical. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious with a knack for asking insightful business questions, diving deep, and uncovering new insights that lead to recommendations and programs that move the organization forward in a meaningful way. This person earns trust through outstanding performance, has strong strategic planning skills, and has creative ideas for how to improve the SA and CSM team culture.

This position is responsible for deploying the programs and communication mechanisms that support the team culture and development. The position partners with leadership and key partners (such as marketing, recruiting, human resources, enablement and operations teams) to find areas to improve team efficiency and optimize previously defined processes.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop, implement and manage the strategic communications processes for the organization, including quarterly town hall meetings, newsletters, awards recognition programs and in person leadership meetings.
- Own the knowledge bases for the organization and continually improve the adoption and content to best meet the needs of our customers, includes management of Wikis, Quips, and standard documentation.
- Partner with Marketing and Recruiting to execute the team branding across team materials, recruiting efforts and marketing campaigns.
- Partner with the workforce development programs to execute programs.
- Partner with the technical productivity and enablement teams to assist and optimize the new hire on-boarding experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Minimum 5 years of Microsoft Office Suite required, including Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor’s degree is required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Exhibits sound business judgment, a proven ability to influence others and a proven track record of taking ownership and influencing results
- Able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization, and to create a vision and organization that can scale quickly
- Highly organized, multi-tasking skills, and efficient in ambiguous situations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting to senior management
- Cross group collaboration skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
