Key job responsibilities
* Own Product vision/roadmap/intake/prioritization, working closely with Science/Engineering teams and external partners. Includes annual planning, PRFAQs, roadmap (including backlog), prioritization framework, cost/benefit analyses for product areas, regular alignment and communication of vision/roadmap.
* Own use case definition: PMTs need to identify customers for Rufus capabilities both internally and in collaboration with external partners, proactively share out capabilities to external partners, own user requirements for feature development.
* Consults and influences scoping: PMT will probe and understand why tasks are scoped a certain way and iterate with ASMs/SDMs to define and scope an appropriate MLP based on a balance of customer delight and tech effort.This PMT is also expected to surface any customer-facing impacts both long-term (how scalable is design) and short-term to influence tech solution alternatives and trade-offs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience technical product management
- Experience with building application on top of LLM and GenAI are preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
