Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of e-Commerce and Advertising, offering a rich array of digital advertising solutions with the goal of helping our customers find and discover anything they want to buy. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, analytical, and insight-driven Sr. Partnership Manager. In this role, you will manage video production partnerships for the Amazon Ads Video Incentive Program. You will own direct relationships with production companies, negotiating deals and identifying gaps with current partners contributing to the growth of the video ads business. You will serve as a key “face” of the program with our creators, and strategize how to utilize these partnerships to create engaging video ad content at scale. The successful candidate must be able to work directly, in a hands-on way, with multiple stakeholders and business teams and peers, on multiple projects. They need to be passionate about their work, self-motivated, detail oriented and have excellent problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent communication and program/project management skills.


Key job responsibilities
• Work at the strategic level (generating bold and innovative ideas for growth and scale) and at the tactical level (managing contracts, payment processes, analyzing data and solving problems).
• Proactively manage working relationship with existing partners, and identify, vet and onboard new 3P production partners globally.
• Build a strategy to manage and grow top relationships with key production partners by addressing customer and partner feedback
• Develop partner facing strategy presentations analyzing partner performance and identify areas of growth or improvement, including regular performance evaluations and process to ensure all partners continue to meet a high bar.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive business reviews to the senior management team, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
• Work internally with Legal, Finance and Stakeholders to create scalable processes and drive best practices for production partners.
• Maintain and enhance the invoicing and payment process with partners.
• Follow up and resolve day-to-day operational and business escalations.
• Develop and lead trainings, presentations, and create best practices for 3Ps
• Propose automation procedures, customizable solutions and substitute manual processes.
• Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs
• Strong negotiation skills


A day in the life
This Sr. Producer will be responsible for managing and developing third party relationships globally. This will include overseeing aspects of pre-production, production and post production with our third-party partners. Developing and growing our third party video production network, and creating mechanisms for budget and compliance management with the vendors and our larger legal team. This includes a deep understanding of multiple production, media management and post production pipelines to provide feedback to vendors. As the team develops, the Sr. Producer will be asked to find strategic solutions to integrate our third party and first party offerings. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means anticipating bottlenecks, making tradeoffs and balancing the needs of various key stakeholders. You must be able to serve as the “go-to” resource for all third-party partnerships.

About the team
Our team’s mandate is to build scalable video content creation programs using our third-party partnerships and in-house video teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insights
- Experience with Salesforce and Tableau

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
