Key job responsibilities
Key job responsibilities include:
- Understand key technology trends on board level components for NICs and ML accelerators, and engage with suppliers to drive product technology roadmaps and execute strategic quality/availability/cost improvement initiatives
- Dive deep into the bill of materials (BOM) for various boards to analyze BOM health, and identify potential areas of opportunities
- Analyze industry capacity for manufacturing critical technologies especially in the GenAI space to predict market constraints and plan sourcing strategies to secure continuity of supply and drive cost optimization.
- Build a comprehensive program management schedule and communicate it effectively across various stakeholders to hold them accountable to deliverables.
- Understand our forecasts and our forecasting mechanisms and develop a strategy with the GSMs to balance demand with manufacturing capacity during NPI and into ramp.
- Develop and execute component vendor strategies in support of business requirements for AWS Server hardware.
- Partner with GCMs to close complex negotiations including commercial terms, statements of work, SLAs, capacity, supply & pricing.
- Implement vendor performance controls and periodic executive level reviews to ensure sustained operational excellence.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Bachelor's degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
