We are looking for an experienced Software Manager with an end-to-end knowledge of Solid State Drives (SSDs) starting from customer requirement stage to hardware/firmware development, validation, and deployment process. Candidate should have experience building scalable and sustainable automation tools to improve quality of products and customer experience. Candidate should have a strong people leadership and management experience, directly leading a team of experienced hardware and software engineers. Candidate should have Customer Obsession mindset in his/her approach to deliver high quality products to customers. He/She will work with customer facing teams to debug and root cause customer issues with shortest possible turn-around time and documenting/presenting debug findings in review forums. The ideal candidate will develop leaders in the team while staying close to the details, driving both immediate customer impacting issues and implementing processes and automation proactively to reduce future failures.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineer or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in software development of storage and/or infrastructure solutions across full product life cycles
- 5+ years of experience building and managing high performance platform and/or infrastructure software engineering teams.
- 3+ years of experience in Solid State Drives (SSD) storage field; knowledge of SATA/NVMe roadmaps and drive qualification and firmware promotion process.
- Experience working with customers.
- Self-motivated and self-driven.
- Ability to build, grow a team of engineers and drive innovation.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineer or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in Solid State Drives (SSD) storage field; knowledge of SATA/NVMe roadmaps.
- Visionary people leader, experienced in building and managing high performance team(s); experience developing technical leaders.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $149,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $258,800/year in our highest geographic market.
