The Production Associate will support the Executive Producer, Coordinating Producers, and other production crew in day-to-day execution of Prime Video’s live sports productions. This role requires flexibility, ability to deal with ambiguity, and a drive to learn and be curious.

A successful candidate has the ability to execute on assigned tasks with little oversight and in the designated time frame. You will find yourself in scenarios where you are working as part of a team and where you act on behalf of our team. Project management skills and the ability to balance competing priorities and deadlines will be critical to the success of our productions.


Key job responsibilities
Support teams in production planning, schedules, logistics and event documentation

Working side-by-side with show Producers on managing day-to-day operations for live broadcasts

Assisting with setup and breakdown of all live event shoots

Communicating with internal teams on cross-functional initiatives

Developing and maintaining positive partner relationships

Administrative support of productions such as sharing of show clips, delivery of cue sheets, handling talent requests, and transportation support to name a few

Content support such as: research assistance; video logging; pitching segment ideas; on-air graphics support

Assisting with meeting coordination, meeting invites, conference room logistics, and floor/building access

A day in the life
The Production Associate will support the production team on items related to planning, coordinating, and organizing live sporting events. In the same day, you may find yourself supporting a wide range of administrative tasks. We need someone who can properly prioritize tasks, proactively working to gather information that allows them to deliver on-time.

Your days follow the ebb and flow of the production schedule. When not in production, you will support the growth of the ever-expanding team, helping evaluate workflows, establishing best practices, and helping to build our culture as we evolve. While in production, you will interact with producers, directors, production managers, and technical teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of studio or production company assistant experience
- 1+ years of on-set physical production experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of digital media space including handling of all types of media equipment experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,600/year in our highest geographic market.
