The Sports Marketing team at Amazon Prime Video seeks a Marketing Operations Lead to lead the day-to-day internal operations of the Sports Marketing team across both Live Sports and Sports Originals marketing, driving operational vision, establishment and adoption for the team. This position is an independent contributor of the Sports Marketing Operations group, reporting into the Head of Campaign Management/Marketing Operations for Prime Video Sports.

The Marketing Operations Lead is the point of accountability for ensuring Prime Video Sports Marketing live sports season launches and Sports Originals campaigns are delivered efficiently and effectively. In this role, you will require a deep understanding of marketing operations. Ideally, you have experience working with Marketing teams, either in-house or as a consultant. You will be responsible for creating the vision for, and building fit-for-purpose tooling, inventing and enhancing key processes/ work flows/ resources, and providing end-to-end campaign operations support and workload management for the Sports Marketing team in a fast-paced environment.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop and implement standardized workflows and processes across campaign and creative readiness to ensure consistency and scalability, working closely with Campaign Managers
- Create and support campaign intake and assignment processes to ensure appropriate title allocation and cross-team workload balancing
- Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging best practices and automation tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the team; Frequently evaluate the impact of processes and iterate to improve outcomes
- Provide end-to-end campaign workflow support to Sports Marketing Campaign Managers as required
- Develop and oversee new and evolving finance and budgeting frameworks working with cross functional teams to ensure the right information is available and easily organized and accessible per campaign/title/sport
- Track and manage cross-campaign budget tracking and reporting, providing timely insights and escalations to Marketing leadership
- Manage Marketing Operations’ contribution to project/deliverables planning from pre-greenlight through kickoff, ensuring appropriate operations considerations to strategic and tactical planning
- Drive connectivity across Amazon PV Sports stakeholders on Marketing Operations matters
- Develop and upkeep the Sports Marketing Campaign Playbook, through the documentation of current-state and leading practices across campaign workflows, and ensuring any changes to standard workflows are reflected in the playbook and Sports Marketing Wiki to drive alignment and champion adoption across the Sports Marketing team
- Support change management activities which impact Sports Marketing campaign workflows, providing subject matter expertise and business context as required

Prime Video has a vast selection of live and on demand sports content such as Thursday Night Football, NBA, NASCAR, New York Yankees, National Women’s Soccer League, as well as best-in-class unscripted originals Sports content. The Sports Marketing team is charged with creating world-class marketing campaigns to deliver this growing portfolio of live sports, sports exclusives, and unscripted sports entertainment content to Amazon customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of experience in a role focused on marketing operations (does not have to be from sports)
- 4+ years of experience working with executive stakeholders
- 4+ years of experience developing and implementing business operational strategies and repeatable processes that drive efficiency, automation or standardization, and effectiveness in a marketing context
- High attention to detail, passion for processes, systems/tools, and data analytics
- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Proven experience planning and leading strategic initiatives, ability to navigate ambiguous situations and drive projects to completion through influence vs. authority
- Strong bias for action, highly organized and ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little to no guidance and tight deadlines in dynamic, highly ambiguous, and rapidly evolving business environment
- Experience in inventing and delivering efficiency mechanisms in startup environments
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in creative production environments
- Experience in sports, sports media, and/or entertainment industry
- Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to make data informed decisions
- In-depth understanding of business processes related to Marketing and Operation, schedule tradeoffs, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas
- Mastery of Smartsheets and Salesforce amongst other project management tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $153,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $252,900/year in our highest geographic market.
