We are hiring a Delivery Manager within the Global Series Delivery team.

The Global Delivery team is responsible for ensuring that all Post Production Deliverables for Amazon MGM Studios’ content are received, adhere to technical specifications, follow mandated file naming conventions and pass Quality Control (QC).

The Delivery Manager will work directly on global series, including original productions, co-productions and acquisitions, collaborating on delivery budgets and schedules, solving internal and external challenges, and ensuring that content is turned over on time and on budget.

The Delivery Manager is responsible for escalating issues and suggesting effective trade-offs between delivery timelines and studio release plans.

Key job responsibilities
• Manage the on-time and on-budget delivery process of Amazon MGM Studios series, ensuring the creation and delivery of all files listed on the delivery checklist.
• Negotiate delivery schedules with outside studios, producers, and production companies.
• Collaborate closely with Series Post Production, Localization, Marketing and Delivery Team senior leaders to support cross-team processes and initiatives.
• Actively manage QC process for assigned titles, including issue assessment and mitigation.
• Supervise external vendors to ensure a timely and on budget delivery, with basic ability to advise on technical specs and QC processes.
• Escalate technical or operational issues with delivery timelines that might impact studio release plans.
• Contribute to process and technical innovation initiatives to support customer needs.
• Contribute to ongoing changes and updates to technical delivery specifications.

The ideal candidate should be able to handle the effective delivery of many series each year.

This role will have room to grow and expand existing delivery workflows, technical file specifications and oversee increasing content volume as our studio continues to grow.

About the team
Amazon MGM Studios is the content development and production arm of Amazon.com. We make and deliver Amazon Originals content for Amazon Prime and various other customers. Over the past 5 years, we have debuted award-winning and ground-breaking content like Fallout, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Air, The Wheel of Time and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

The Studio Content Services team covers post production delivery, archive, and distribution of series and movies globally.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of technical experience on episodic and film workflows
- 5+ years of experience in coordination, project management, media asset operations or post delivery
- 3-5 years of experience as delivery or mastering manager
- 3-5 years of experience with quality control and creation of domestic and international deliverables
- Experience in managing multiple projects to meet aggressive delivery timelines
- Experience with Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, UHD, HDR, and film workflows

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong relationships with established vendors for DI, sound, mastering, and QC
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Experience in a studio-like organization with an emphasis on streaming platforms
- Experience with legal documents and contractual language
- Working knowledge of digital delivery products such as Aspera and AWS tools
- Knowledge of sound, dialogue, and music editing and mixing workflows
- Experience with deliverables and distribution
- Experience working in multiple countries

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $76,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $163,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
