The Selling Partner Growth organization is a growing business-tech team, focused on accelerating the growth of Selling Partners (Vendors and Sellers) by providing analytics tools, actionable insights and recommendations that enable them to make better and faster decisions at each step of their business journey. Our Selling Partners (SPs) are both small and large businesses, who rely on success on Amazon for their livelihood. We build software solutions with established SPs in mind and make these solutions available to all SPs WW.

Helping selling partners to understand the full picture of their business performance and cost saving opportunity is one of the critical missions of our Selling Partner Growth. We provide comprehensive analytics across different domain metrics, leveraging advanced statistical methods and machine learning to proactively detect business opportunities, identify root causes of performance changes, and deliver actionable recommendations. Our solutions are accessible through intuitive user interfaces, APIs, and downloadable reports, while our integration of GenAI technology simplifies complex analytics into easily digestible insights that enable selling partners to quickly capitalize on growth opportunities and optimize their business performance.

As a Software Development Manager for this team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and driving the technical strategy, experimentation, and execution for our analytics and insights products. If you are passionate about leading a high-performance team, whose tech stack includes ML, back-end, and front-end, then this role is for you! In this role, you will heavily influence our product roadmap and strategy and collaborate with senior engineering and product leaders to define and deliver our long-term analytics vision. You will have end-to-end ownership of a products and tools that help hundreds of thousands of selling partners understand, grow and optimize their business.

* Own team vision and growth, including hiring, mentoring, and career development of direct reports while fostering a strong engineering culture.
* Lead product delivery, managing complex projects with significant business impact and building strategic relationships with product, tech and science partners.
* Drive engineering and operational excellence through effective project management, prioritization, and implementation of efficiency-driving mechanisms.
* Balance technical leadership with business acumen to make strategic decisions about technology choices and architectural improvements.

About the team
Selling Partner Growth is the growth and development engine for Amazon Selling Partners (SPs) World Wide. Leveraging science partnerships across Amazon, we catalyze SP growth with comprehensive and accurate data, unique insights, and actionable recommendations and collaborate with WW SP facing teams to drive adoption and create feedback loops. We believe that any motivated SP should be able to grow their businesses and reach their full potential by using our scaled, automated, and self-service tools.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
