The Amazon Inbound Transportation team is rapidly growing and seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Transportation Coordinator. In this role, you will work directly with sellers who ship their inbound freight with Amazon Inbound Transportation to improve their shipping experience. You will apply a mix of quantitative and quantitative skills to identify defect trends in the transportation network, investigate the root cause, and make recommendations for improvements to program/product owners.

Key job responsibilities
- Pull data to create daily, weekly, monthly reporting
- Identify transportation defect root causes
- Escalate transportation defect trends in writing to leadership
- Influence shipper performance through effective written and verbal communication
- Create clear and concise written defect explanations and recommendations
- Support the training and development of team members
- Contribute to team process improvements
- Plan and allocate labor for team workflow
- Support administrative-related activities and continuously identify new areas for improvement


A day in the life
Each day, you'll assist in the daily team start of shift by ensuring that necessary data is available. You'll also participate in and provide data for daily and weekly business reviews. Additionally, you'll participate or host best practice reviews to ensure the team is able to provide an excellent shipper experience.

The Amazon Inbound Transportation Shipper Support team was established in October 2021 out of a need to create single-thread ownership and leadership over our inbound shipper experience. Faced with a heavy volume of shipper missed pickup cases, the team rapidly earned a reputation for quick, effective resolution of transportation disruptions. The team's mission is to continuously improve the inbound shipping experience for Amazon's shippers through process innovation, data-driven decision-making, and a customer-obsessed mindset.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- High school or equivalent diploma
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- 1+ years of program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with SQL
- Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements
- 1+ years of management experience
