As a Launch Specialist, you’ll have a pivotal role in executing established Candidate Attraction strategies and deliverables for risk launch sites. Working closely with both internal and external stakeholders, you’ll directly contribute to achieving the hiring goals of the Candidate Attraction team. Your responsibilities include supporting the Launch Lead in sourcing and cultivating local community partnerships and amplifying our hiring message. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and timely completion of launch tasks. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for reporting on assigned tasks and outcomes, as well as striving to bolster the overall effectiveness of Candidate Attraction initiatives across the U.S.

Key job responsibilities
• Implement the strategies outlined in the Candidate Attraction Launch Playbook, ensuring alignment and execution of tactics within specified timelines.
• Collaborate with the Candidate Attraction Partnerships team to identify and engage key community organizations, fostering relationships and providing them with an overview of our hiring process pre/post site launch.
• Coordinate with U.S. Field team to ensure pre-launch alignment on all events, collateral, signage and task execution to ensure that we deliver results.
• Collaborate with WFS Launch team, Journey Orchestration and Field team to ensure seamless coordination and timely completion of launch tasks.
• Conduct market research to understand demographics and insights, utilizing relevant dashboards and resources.
• Coordinate and schedule community events, job fairs, and other activities to promote awareness of new site launches and job opportunities.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams such as Economic Development, Public Policy and Public Relations to facilitate introductions to relevant community partners.
• Set up communication channels for quick response and coordination among key stakeholders.
• Utilize social media platforms to promote awareness of launch sites and job opportunities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience in recruiting especially high volume hiring, both within direct hiring and outsourcing capacities
- Experience in implementing strategies and deliverables in a structured environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $57,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $123,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
