A Customs Brokerage Specialist owns daily operations for customs clearance on ocean, air, rail and truck cross-border shipments. A Customs Brokerage Specialist will communicate with freight forwarders/sellers/vendors for shipment and document preparation, monitor shipment clearance status and escalates issues when necessary. The Brokerage Specialist also performs data entry functions for entry filing, classifications, and inspections related delivery-form generation, tracking and compliance requirements. This position is a key member of our customs brokerage team, responsible for overseeing the elaborate process of importing goods on behalf of our clients. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of custom regulations and freight forwarding services, a strong grasp of customs compliance, and the ability drive production while equally ensuring accuracy.
