The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly analytical, and intensely detailed with a strong customer focus and perspective to drive strategy in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.Key job responsibilitiesData Collection and Integration:- Gather data from various sources (databases, APIs, files, etc.)- Design and implement data integration processes- Ensure data quality and consistency across systemsData Modeling and Optimization:- Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes- Write complex SQLs to convert raw data to meaningful metrics- Optimize SQLs for improved performanceReport and Dashboard Development:- Design and create reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., AWS QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, Looker)- Develop interactive visualizations to present data effectively- Ensure reports are accurate & user-friendlyData Analysis:- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover insights- Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms- Perform ad-hoc analysis to answer business questionsCollaboration and Communication:- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements- Translate business needs into technical specifications- Present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiencesData Governance and Security:- Ensure data security and compliance with regulationsContinuous Improvement:- Stay updated with the latest BI tools and technologies- Automate processes where possible to increase efficiencyDocumentation and Training:- Create and maintain documentation for data models, processes, and reports- Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and dashboardsProblem-solving:- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and technical issues- Develop solutions to complex data-related problemsData Strategy:- Contribute to the organization's overall data strategy- Identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business valueBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 10+ years of professional or military experience- 5+ years of SQL experience- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results- Experience with AWS technologies- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining- Master's degree in statistics, data science, or an equivalent quantitative field ...
